Evening Desert Safari - United Arab Emirates

If you're planning a vacation to Dubai then a Desert Safari is a MUST!!!!! My nephew was living in Diera at the Hyatt Regency. So I got on TripAdvisor and started searching for the best safari tours. I was a little hesitant because I was going alone on this safari. My nephew was working long hours and couldn't join me. I said what the hell and went for it. I booked a reservation and within minutes I had a confirmation and my driver was giving me details on what time he would be picking me up and where.

When I got to the lobby I was excited to see another couple getting in the SUV that was picking me up. The driver advised that he had a few more people to pick up and we would be on our way.

The ride to the location was an hour long so we were able to get to know each other and after 45 minutes we were old friends. We stopped for snacks and drinks and proceeded on. When we arrived we had a few options of activities. There were the camel rides or the 4 wheelers. Of course I chose the 4 wheelers! I kept thinking OMG I hope I don't flip this thing because if you're ever rode in my jeep with me you know I have a heavy foot.

After the 4 wheelers it was time for the desert excursion! Can I just say HOLY CRAP BATMAN!!!! I don't know if I would do that part again. I was scared S!@#LESS....but it was fun!

After the desert ride it was time for dinner and dancing! It was an amazing time!!! Over all the entertainment was fun! Food not the best but I wasn't expecting it to be all that great considering the cost of the package. Next time I go back I'm going to the over night desert safari. My nephew said the one he took his family to was amazing. The food was top notch. He's more of a food snob than I am so I'm looking forward to it.
